Which are the best shoe colors for winter?
At this time of year, the question we get asked most frequently is which are the best shoe colors for winter? Obviously, this is a matter of personal taste and everybody will have their own favorites to match their personality and their mood. Since winter fashion seems to favor darker clothes, shades of brown are a good way of warming up the look and feel of your outfit. Neutral colors are also a good bet, so beige, camel, soft grey and black will always look good. In fact, we have a lovely selection of comfortable shoes including suede espadrilles, leather espadrilles, espadrille flats, camel leather shoes and camel suede shoes for all occasions. And you can even shop by color.
Which color shoes go with everything?
Again, Neutral colors are the safest bet if you’re looking for a versatile palette that enhances the warm, cozy, casual winter look. More muted shades like these will also blend in seamlessly with most winter outfits. However, don’t restrict yourself. Think beige, soft grey and black and you won’t go wrong. Beige is probably the most versatile of all the winter shoe colors since it mixes easily with almost all other palette tones, especially the earthy winter tones that are synonymous with winter style.
How can I brighten up my winter outfits?
Some people like to blend in with their surroundings. It’s sort of like camouflage and it makes them feel comfortable. But there are others who see greyness as a blank canvas - an opportunity to stand out from the crowd. If you’re one of those people then Viscata has plenty of shoes for you to choose from including espadrille wedges, espadrille sandals and espadrille heels. Dare to be different, even on the darkest of days. Add a splash of color to your outfits and put the sunshine back in your life.
Be bold and step out in a pair of red shoes. This iconic shade is synonymous with winter’s natural colors, matching the berries on the trees and bringing with it a sense of festive joy. But it’s also a fashion color that will bring every outfit to life. If you’re the type of person who likes to get noticed, slip on a pair of our Verona red leather wedges to make an instant impact. And if you think red is dead and blue is the color, then try out our Navy Blue espadrilles to remind you of the blue skies ahead.
Can you wear white shoes in winter?
Yes. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t step out in bright white shoes, even on the snowiest of days. Disregard the old rule about not wearing white after Labor Day. You’re an individual with your own unique style and we know you’re happy to break these outdated rules. White sneakers are a huge hit this year and there’s no reason why that shouldn’t apply to all other shoe types in the winter months. If you’re brave enough, try pairing a bright white outfit with some off white shoes. Spend some time looking at Viscata’s white shoes and see if you can pull off the Snow Queen look this winter.
